This year we are adding an additional competition (The Nike Challenge) to the 2010 season supported by the Southeastern Junior Golf Tour and Nike. There will be awards given to the top 3 Nike points leaders in each age division. Each competitor must follow the rules and regulations of the Nike Challenge.
Rules and Regulations:
• The Nike Challenge will take place during all Nike sponsored tournaments (See membership calendar and look for the Nike logo).
• Each competitor must play any Nike Ball in EVERY Nike Challenge Tournament if they wish you receive points.
• Any person that chooses to compete must maintain any Nike ball throughout the round during EVERY round he/she plays.
• Points will be awarded to the top 5 Nike Challenge finishers per age group in each Nike sponsored tournament (See membership calendar and look for the Nike logo).

• The point system works just like our SJGT point system. If you change age groups, you still get to keep your points in your old age group. Your points will start over in your new age group; therefore, you can still win the younger age group if you have enough points before you switched groups.
• Points will be tallied and the winner will be announced at the SJGT Tournament of Champions.
o 1st place will receive $100 Nike gift card
o 2nd place will receive $50 Nike gift card
o 3rd place will receive $25 Nike gift card

Example
In the Lakewood Jr. Classic, 50 of the 90 players played the Nike ball.
Joe finished 5th out of those 50 players so he would earn 3 points in the Nike Challenge.
Mark finished 4th out of those 50 players so he would earn 5 points in the Nike Challenge.
Scott finished 3rd out of those 50 players so he would earn 10 points in the Nike Challenge.
Max finished 2nd out of those 50 players so he would earn 15 points in the Nike Challenge.
Todd finished 1st out of those 50 players so he would earn 25 points in the Nike Challenge.
*The only people who earn points are the ones who play the Nike ball.
All of the Nike Challenge points will be tallied throughout the season. The winner will be announced at the SJGT Tournament of Champions. We hope the Challenge will help players stay motivated throughout the 2010 season. It is also a way to get players to try the Nike golf ball. Once you play a few rounds with it, you will realize how great of a ball it really is.
