The Southeastern Junior Golf Tour will heading into its 16th season in 2009 and the tour has seen many previous members carry their golf game into the collegiate level. The tour decided to take a look at the numbers of players that are currently playing college golf in a state where the SJGT conducts events. Those states are Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, South Carolina and Tennessee.
Alabama – 65 players (46 boys and 19 girls) Tennessee – 55 players (37 boys and 18 girls) Georgia – 42 players (30 boys and 12 girls) Mississippi – 28 players (14 boys and 14 girls) South Carolina – 11 players (9 boys and 2 girls) Florida – 8 players (5 boys and 3 girls)
The SJGT is proud of its past members and we wish them continued success!
