If you want to become a member of the SJGT you have come to the right spot.
There are two ways you can accomplish this: Simply click on the
membership registration form and register on line with a credit card or you may print the form and mail it in with a check for

The SJGT Mission Statement
About Us
The mission of the Southeastern Junior Golf Tour is "To provide opportunities for junior golfers
to compete in organized golf tournaments on quality golf courses under the USGA
Rules of Golf in order to increase their skill and knowledge of the game of golf."
The Southeastern Junior Golf Tour
The Southeastern Junior Golf Tour is in its 17th season and is looking forward to another quality year of competitive golf.
The primary goals of the SJGT are
- To give aspiring junior golfers opportunities to develop their tournament skills and enjoy a quality tournament atmosphere;
- To help each player enhance his/her skills in tournament golf and learn the fine points of the USGA Rules of Golf under competitive conditions;
- To allow young people the chance to take their respective games to a higher level and enhance their golf resume;
- To highlight a junior golfers’ achievements to colleges, other tournament sponsors, local and national media;

Membeship Information
Eligibility
The SJGT is open to all females and males between the ages of 12-19. Age is determined upon the first round of a tournament. A female or male may not compete in a tournament after September 1st following their high school graduation once he or she has reached the age of 20 or has started their freshman year at a college or university. If a young person becomes 20 during the 2010 season, he/she may participate in any tournament held prior to his or her actual birth date.
Why Should I Join the SJGT?

- Well run events on quality golf courses and all tournaments are enforced by the USGA Rules of Golf
- Each SJGT member will receive a RTJ Trail Card. This card allows you to play any RTJ Trail Course for $10 on a space available basis.
- The SJGT has a great relationship with the American Junior Golf Association and players that perform well can earn both exemptions with the AJGA and performance stars
- The SJGT will administer at least 10 GolfWeek Ranked Events
- The SJGT has everyone of it events ranked by the National Junior Golf Scoreboard
- The SJGT has a tremendous track record of past members earning golf scholarships at colleges and universities all over the country
- Affordable tournaments
- The SJGT has Junior Fit as part of the program and each player will have access to pre and post round stretching at most events and in addition exposure to a certified Physical Therapist to assist you with developing a golf specific workout program
- Opportunity to qualify for any one of the SJGT Invitationals and Championships
- Opportunity to qualify for the Nike Cup
- Ability to drive to most events
- Relaxed tournament atmosphere and ability to develop long time relationships
- SJGT Members get into about 85% of the events they apply for
- Close to 20% of the alternates get into an event after they started on the alternate list
SJGT Membership Fee
- The 2010 membership fee is $185. The non-refundable fee must be received before a player signs up for his/her first tournament. THE MEMBER FEE IS VALID FROM JANUARY 1, 2010 – DECEMBER 31, 2010
- THE SJGT HAS A PRO-RATED FEE IN 2010 THAT WILL TAKE PLACE AFTER AUGUST 31, 2010. ANYONE WHO HEARS ABOUT THE SJGT LATE IN THE SUMMER WILL BE ABLE TO PAY THE PRORATED FEE OF $75 AND BE ELIGIBLE TO SIGN UP FOR AN EVENT AFTER THE FEE IS PAID.
- All junior golfers that fall under the age eligibility defined above (12-19) are welcome, although a junior golfer should have some tournament experience to receive the full benefit from Tour participation.
- Each SJGT member will receive the following: Access to all OPEN SJGT events; access to the SJGT web site; opportunity to qualify for Invitational events; access to Junior Fit; SJGT Digital Newsletter; USGA 2010-2011 Rule Book; SJGT Sticker, 2 Sharpies, cell phone holder, SJGT belt, and SJGT Golf Shirt
- As an added benefit to our members, the SJGT will again team up with Nike Golf in 2010 to offer our members the ability to purchase a Nike Xtreme Sport Carry Bag. Four colors will be available to SJGT members. The golf bags will be customized for SJGT members with both the SJGT logo and the player’s name embroidered on the bag. The cost of the bag for SJGT members is $110 and the suggested retail price is $150
